Transportation of export cargoes by rail in Dagestan increased by 5.4%

The loading of export cargoes in January-August 2026 at the stations of the North Caucasus Railway for transportation along the western route of the North-South international transport corridor amounted to about 400 thousand tons. This is reported by the telegram channel “Economics of Dagestan”.

Separately, in August, loading on the railway in Dagestan increased by 5.4%.

The main share in the structure of loading in the NCFD was taken by grain, which accounted for 53 percent, and mineral fertilizers with a share of 13 percent. Also in this direction, supplies of milling products, cake, industrial raw materials, oil cargoes, consumer goods and food were carried out.

In addition, coal, feed, ferrous metals, sugar, construction materials and chemicals were transported by rail.
