Almost 5 thousand tons of products per season: a new workshop for the production of vitamin and herbal flour was opened near Orsha

In Orsha district at the agro-combine "Yubiley" today, October 9, solemnly launched a new workshop for the production of vitamin and herbal flour, reports the correspondent sb.by.

The new division of the agricultural enterprise is located in the village of Antonovka on the territory of the former machine yard, which was empty for a long time. Within four months, a production building was built here and a technological line was installed. Its capabilities allow to produce 4.8 thousand tons of granules of vitamin and herbal flour per season. The output to the design capacity is planned in 2027. The total cost of the project, implemented at the expense of own and credit resources, amounted to 9 million Belarusian rubles.

According to Alexander Firsin, director of Agrocombinat Jubilee, it is planned that the workshop will work around the clock. The shift will be two people, and the total staff will be five employees. Referring to the place in the technological chain and the importance of the new workshop in the overall activity of the enterprise, Alexander Firsin noted that the division was organized for two main purposes:

- First of all, it is, of course, to meet your own needs. Today we grow a lot of grass, especially alfalfa. Large areas are laid under it, since this culture gives up to five pricks per year and sometimes there is an excess green mass, which is not necessary for haying. Solving the question of what to do with it, we came to the conclusion that it is necessary to create an additional technological link - herbal flour in the form of granules can replace up to 2-3 kilograms of concentrates in the diet of a cow. This is a completely different approach to working with green mass.

- We have not yet launched production, but have already begun to receive proposals for the sale of pellets from both our farms and the Russian Federation. Potential buyers from the central region, Moscow region called. The high demand for this product opens up prospects for the development of this direction. Therefore, now, at the initial stage of work, we will analyze its activities and make the optimal decision on how to better dispose of products to achieve the maximum economic result.

- The opening of this facility was a significant event not only for the economy or district, but also for the agro-industrial complex of the region as a whole. This is an illustrative example proving that our village workers have successful experience, technologies, discipline, ability to think strategically and build construction projects in agriculture with high quality, efficiency and high economic efficiency.

In recent years, the Yubileyny agricultural plant has been actively conducting investment activities to improve production indicators. Investments in fixed assets only in January-September 2026 amounted to 28.9 million rubles, or 178.5 percent to the same level last year. The team is not going to stop there - projects for the further development of processing capacities are in the implementation stage, the head shared:

- We entered the program "Promagroleasing" for obtaining equipment. Contracts are concluded, money is allocated. I think that in March we will launch a line for processing oilseeds in order to provide the livestock industry with its own protein raw materials.
