Mirozhsky Monastery: Bank of Russia coin
On October 7, 2026, the Bank of Russia issues a commemorative silver coin with a nominal value of 3 rubles "Savior-Preobrazhensky Mirozhsky Monastery, Pskov" of the series "Monuments of Architecture of Russia" (catalogue No. 5111-0541).
Pskov Spaso-Preobrazhensky Myrozhsky Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in Russia. Its main shrine is the Transfiguration Cathedral with unique frescoes of the XII century.
Silver coin with a face value of 3 rubles (the weight of the precious metal in purity is 31.1 g, the alloy sample is 925) has the shape of a circle with a diameter of 39.0 mm.
On the front and reverse sides of the coin around the circumference there is a protruding kant.
On the obverse side of the coin there is a relief image of the State Emblem of the Russian Federation, there are inscriptions: “Russian Federation”, “Bank of Russia”, denomination of the coin “3 RUBLE”, year of issue “2026”, designation of metal according to the Periodic System of Elements of D.I. Mendeleev, sample of the alloy, trademark of the St. Petersburg Mint and the mass of precious metal in purity.
On the reverse side of the coin there is a relief image of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Mirozhsky Monastery against the background of images of trees and water glares made in the technique of laser matting; there are relief inscriptions: on the circumference - "SPASO-PREOBRAZENSKY PEOPLE MONASTRY" against the background of laser matting ornament, in the lower part of the coin field - "PSKOV".
The side surface of the coin is corrugated.
