Svetlana Mikhoparova from Chuvashia took the third place in the All-Russian competition “Women in the AIC” in the nomination for startups “Supreme Star”.

The entrepreneur manages the Sankkino cheese factory in the Krasnochetaisky district. In 2021, she graduated from the Farmer’s School, developed a business plan and received a Perspective grant of 10 million rubles.

Within a few years, the startup turned into a modern production. The company processes up to 25 tons of milk per day and produces more than 80 tons of cheese per month. Products are supplied to 35 regions of Russia, 70 people work at the plant.

“I make cheese with the soul of Chuvashia. We are not only engaged in production. But we also support the local school, participate in the improvement of the territory of the cultural house, help develop social infrastructure and in the future plan to provide employees with housing, says Svetlana Mikhoparova.
