Russian President Vladimir Putin said that this agricultural year the country will receive a decent harvest of grain. He said this in a video message on the occasion of the Day of the worker of agriculture and processing industry.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that this agricultural year the country will receive a decent harvest of grain. He said this in a video message on the occasion of the Day of the worker of agriculture and processing industry.

According to the head of state, the harvest has already exceeded the bar of 100 million tons with a solid reserve. Putin congratulated Russian farmers on their professional holiday.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev reported that in general, grain harvest in Russia by the end of 2026 is expected in the amount of about 140 million tons.

Recall that by the end of 2025, Russian farmers harvested about 140 million tons of grain. Of these, 91 million tons came from wheat.
