FEZs of Tajikistan and Belarus are looking for new growth points
As the administration of FEZ Dangara informs, heads of free economic zones of Tajikistan and Belarus held an online meeting

According to the administration of FEZ Dangara, the heads of free economic zones of Tajikistan and Belarus held an online meeting. The parties discussed the development of logistics, trade and investment cooperation and the exchange of experience.
The negotiations were attended by the head of the administration of the FEZ Dangara Jamshed Sobirzoda and the head of the Belarusian FEZ Gomel-Raton Vladimir Privalov. They focused on expanding logistics cooperation and using existing opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation. The management and development practices of free economic zones were discussed separately.
Sobirzoda noted that the strengthening of relations between Tajikistan and Belarus creates conditions for the growth of economic, trade and investment ties. He stressed that attracting domestic and foreign investments remains a key area of FEZ work.
There are five free economic zones in Tajikistan: Sughd, Dangara, Kulyab, Panj and Ishkashim. As of January 1, 2025, 107 companies were registered in them, most of them in the FEZ Sughd and Dangara.
According to the Agency for Statistics of Tajikistan, in January-April 2026, 21 industrial enterprises worked in the Sughd FEZ, which produced products worth 177.4 million somoni - 16.6% more than a year earlier. In the FEZ "Dangara" for the same period operated seven enterprises with the output of 42.5 million somoni.
The parties stressed the potential of both zones to form new areas of cooperation, attract investment and develop trade and economic ties.
