Since the beginning of 2026, the employment service of Buryatia has helped 2,754 applicants find work, of which 1,700 people live in district centers and villages of the republic. According to the Ministry, 60% of the employed residents of the region live in rural areas.
Within the framework of the national project “Personnel”, career consultants provide job seekers with comprehensive support: help in finding vacancies, drawing up resumes, preparing for interviews and conducting career guidance testing. As the head of the Republican Employment Agency Alexander Bashkirtsev noted, the employment of 1,700 villagers is the real fate of people who got a job near home, and the level of registered unemployment in the republic remains stable at 0.3%.
New employees join farms, cooperatives, schools, kindergartens, medical institutions, manufacturing and mining enterprises. The most popular vacancies in the village were a doctor, educator, car driver, security guard, boiler room driver, seller and handyman. Another 136 villagers found work after vocational training – they work as forklift drivers, bulldozer drivers, social workers, cashiers and junior educators.
The employment service pays great attention to veterans of a special military operation: about 100 SVO members are employed annually. Each fighter is assigned a personal career consultant who selects employment options and oversees interaction with the employer. If it is impossible to find a suitable vacancy, the participants of the special operation are offered free professional training or opening their own business. Currently, the employment service bank contains more than 12 thousand vacancies from employers of the republic.
