The agreement between the governments of Belarus and the United Arab Emirates on trade in services and investment, signed on June 27, 2025 in Minsk, has entered into force. This sb.by reported in the press service of the Ministry of Economy.

The document creates an international legal framework for the development of trade in services and investment cooperation, fixes mutual obligations of Belarus and the UAE and provides more predictable and transparent conditions for market participants.
The Service and Investment Agreement complements the Economic Partnership Agreement between the EAEU and its member states on the one hand and the United Arab Emirates on the other, which entered into force on October 6, 2026, aimed at liberalizing trade in goods. Together, the two documents cover key areas of trade and economic cooperation: trade in goods, services and investment activities. The creation of a comprehensive legal framework will contribute to the expansion of mutual trade, the development of cooperation ties and the implementation of new opportunities for business of the two countries, the press service said.
