Tula took 29th place in the ranking of Russian cities in terms of salaries. This rating was prepared by RIA Novosti according to data for the first half of 2026.

Compared to the same period of 2025, salaries in the arms capital added 10.7%. The average net earnings of Tulaks per month amounted to 93.5 thousand rubles.

The ratio of salary to the cost of a fixed consumer set in Tula was estimated at 3.68.

For comparison: in Novy Urengoy, which topped the list, this figure is 5.93, in Moscow - 4.89, and in Grozny (100th place) - 2.19.

So, Tula bypassed Tomsk, Lipetsk, Novosibirsk and Izhevsk.

Earlier, MK in Tula reported that the average salary in the Tula region by the end of 2026 can reach 94.3 thousand rubles a month, which is 9.9% more than in 2025. According to the forecast of socio-economic development of the region, by 2029, revenues will continue to grow - up to 114.6 thousand rubles in the conservative scenario and 115.6 thousand in the basic scenario. This is 1.3-1.4 times higher than the level of 2025.
