As of the morning of October 7, farmers of the central region threshed 107.3 thousand tons of corn grain with a yield of 78.6 centners per hectare. This was reported by sb.by in the press service of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee.
It is specified that the rate of harvesting of corn for grain this year exceeds last year’s volume twice. Such dynamics became possible due to the well-coordinated work of machine operators and timely preparation of equipment for the harvesting campaign.
- More than 530 harvesters are involved in the fields of the region, which work with maximum efficiency, using every weathery day, the regional executive committee said.
Removed about 92 percent of the planned volume. This allows us to count on a decent completion of corn harvesting for grain in the optimal agrotechnical terms.
