Tulyaks risk overpaying if they postpone New Year's purchases until December

The New Year is still far away, but residents of the Tula region should already look at holiday purchases: it is more profitable to take some products to the table in advance. This advice to the Agency “Prime” gave the analyst “Ricom Trust” Valery Popova: something quietly stored for months, and the December bustle every year hits the budget.
The reason is that in autumn and winter, goods that depend on harvest and transportation rise in price. By December, alcohol and sparkling are added to the price due to excise taxes, and red caviar and citrus fruits are even more noticeable.
It is worth taking in advance what lies for a long time: sugar, flour, canned food, butter, honey, tea, coffee, nuts and chocolate. Separately, Popova advises to take a closer look at champagne and red caviar - before the holiday they rise quickly.
But meat, chilled fish, milk, soft cheeses and ready-made food should not be taken in advance - they have a short shelf life. Fresh vegetables and greens are also better to buy closer to the holiday, and potatoes, carrots, onions and cabbage can be stored now.
Earlier, MK in Tula reported that by the New Year, red caviar in Russia may become an inaccessible delicacy due to a sharp drop in the production of Pacific salmon. According to industry experts, the kilogram can rise in price to 30-40 thousand rubles.
