Cleaning in the southern Urals is faster than last year
Chelyabinsk farmers are ahead of last year’s pace

Chelyabinsk farmers are ahead of last year’s pace. According to the operational summary of field work at the beginning of the week, grains were threshed on 787.3 thousand hectares - this is 77% of the harvesting area. Gross grain harvest reached 1 million 523.5 thousand tons with an average yield of 19.4 centners per hectare.
Alexey Kobylin, Deputy Governor and Minister of Agriculture of the Chelyabinsk region, noted that the season was not easy, but South Ural farmers ensure food security and keep a high rate of harvesting. Winter crops were sown without failures - their area is 7 thousand hectares more than a year ago, and there is a harvesting of feed for livestock. The main bet was made on oilseeds: 100,000 tons of oilseeds have already been harvested, which is 78% higher than the figure on the same date last year.
Potatoes and vegetables are removed: according to operational data, 37% and 35% of the area were covered, respectively, the yield is 213 and 173 centners per hectare.
Farms are actively forming a feed base. 84.3 thousand tons of hay were harvested for public livestock (without personal subsidiary farms) - 106% of the plan, and 172.7 thousand tons of hay (ready weight) - 85%. 162 thousand tons of finished silo were laid - the plan for this type of feed was exceeded by 19%. At the same time, farmers prepare steam in the fields: 384.1 thousand hectares (79%) were processed.
Oilseeds are also removed: 94.3 thousand hectares were covered - a fifth of the area. The hammer has already reached 100 thousand tons, the yield is 10.6 c / ha. In terms of gross harvest, this is significantly higher than last year’s 56 thousand tons on the same date.
High labor productivity in the production of agricultural products corresponds to the goals and objectives of the national project “Technological provision of food security”.
