In Belarus removed almost a third of the area of potatoes — dug up 212,000 tons

Belarusian farmers have already fulfilled 28% of the plan for harvesting potatoes - "second bread" collected from an area of more than 6 thousand hectares. In total, 212,000 tons of potatoes have been dug up in the republic with an average yield of 340 centners per hectare. This was reported by sb.by in the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

In the regional context, the Mogilev region holds the leadership, where 69 thousand tons were collected. In the Minsk region, 51 thousand tons were dug up, in Brest - 28 thousand, in Gomel - 26 thousand, in Grodno - 19 thousand, in Vitebsk - 17 thousand.

Sugar beets were removed from the area of 28 thousand hectares - 26 percent of the plan. 1 million 251 thousand tons of root crop have been dug up with an average yield of 443 centners per hectare. In the Minsk region, 543 thousand tons have been dug, Grodno - 426 thousand, Brest - 159 thousand, Mogilev - 114 thousand, Vitebsk - 8 thousand.

36% of open ground vegetables were harvested. 44,000 tons collected.

According to operational data as of September 18, 9 million 250 thousand tons of grain were threshed in agricultural organizations and peasant farms, taking into account rapeseed.

In the Minsk region harvested 2 million 436 thousand tons, Grodno — 1 million 846 thousand, Brest — 1 million 680 thousand, Mogilev — 1 million 219 thousand, Gomel — 1 million 94,000, Vitebsk — 975 thousand.

Smell 1 million 33 thousand hectares for sowing winter grains - 69 percent of the plan. Winter grains for grain were sown on an area of 613,000 hectares - 41 percent of the plan. The pace of work in all areas is higher than last year.

Corn on the silo removed from 307 thousand hectares — 32 percent of the plan.

Grass with the second bite was removed on an area of 948,000 hectares - 94 percent of the plan. 596 thousand tons of hay — 83 percent, 12 million 721 thousand tons of hay — 89 percent, 6 million 305 thousand tons of silo — 31 percent. All herbal feed - 5 million 589 thousand tons of feed units - 55 percent of the plan.

Under winter sowing accumulated 311,000 tons of active substance of all types of mineral fertilizers — 181 percent of the plan.
