In Cheboksary in 2026 to repair 128 apartment buildings

In the capital of Chuvashia, the overhaul of apartment buildings continues according to the short-term municipal plan. The program for 2026 includes 128 houses.

The most extensive work is related to engineering systems and roofs. Cold water supply is repaired in 71 houses, water disposal in 69, heat supply in 63, roofs in 54 houses. Work is also provided on hot water supply systems, electricity, gas supply and in basements.

A separate direction is the renewal of elevators. In 2026, it is planned to repair, replace and upgrade 106 elevators in 28 houses. To date, 26 elevators have already been replaced, and work is continuing at another 80 facilities.

From 2020 to 2025, 415 elevators were replaced in Cheboksary. Another 938 elevators in 222 houses are scheduled to be upgraded for the next stage: 582 in 2027 and 356 in 2028.
