Specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor from January to October 9 revealed on the Internet the sale of more than 100 varieties of seeds not included in the State register of breeding achievements allowed for use in Russia.
In particular, on October 9, Wildberries and Ozon found offers from individual entrepreneurs from Cheboksary. They sold seeds of carrots, cucumbers, sweet peppers, tomatoes, cabbage and other vegetable crops.
As explained in the department, varieties that are absent in the State Register have not passed the necessary state tests, and their implementation in Russia is not allowed.
Entrepreneurs were warned about the inadmissibility of violations of mandatory requirements in the field of seed production.
