Ivanovo hosts a forum on professional self-determination

On the basis of the Center for Advanced Professional Training, events related to the introduction of career guidance models, their planning, as well as meetings of teachers-navigators were organized.

The program of the forum includes an open lesson about the human resources potential of the region, a dialogue with employees of enterprises and acquaintance with VR technologies

In parallel, study visits to colleges of food, energy, medical and light industries were organized for schoolchildren of grades 8-9.

It is important to note that, although the Ivanovo region was not among the winners of the "Russia – My Horizons" award, which names the authors of the best educational methods aimed at the formation of professional self-determination, this did not prevent the region from continuing to develop the "Ticket to the Future" vocational guidance system and methods of training.

Since this academic year, the project "Russia – my horizons" has been supplemented with a regional component. Eight lessons per year will now be devoted to local industries – textiles, engineering, agriculture, medicine, tourism and education.

More than 250 navigator teachers are currently working in the Ivanovo region, and vocational guidance has been introduced in all schools in the region.
