In Korelich district on the basis of an abandoned farm plan to create a modern pig complex
CJSC "BioMax", specializing in pig farming, acquired in the Korelich district of the Grodno region the building of an abandoned farm and intends to increase there.

CJSC BioMax, specializing in pig farming, acquired an abandoned farm building in the Korelichsky district of the Grodno region and intends to increase production there, the director of the BioMax-Korelici branch Vyacheslav Guzen told sb.by.

He noted:
- We recently purchased at auction in Akanovichy several buildings of the former pig farm, which has not been used for more than 10 years. It is located 20 kilometers from our branch "BioMax-Korelici". Logistically, it's very convenient. It is too early to talk about the timing of the commissioning of the purchased buildings and the planned increase in the number of pigs. It is clear that huge financial investments will be required for reconstruction and launch: half of the buildings will have to be demolished, some will have to be modernized and several new buildings built, and new equipment will have to be purchased and installed. It is planned to make a modern, high-tech pig complex.
On the map of the agro-industrial complex of Grodno region, the branch of BioMax-Korelici CJSC BioMax has long secured the status of a leader. Founded in 2008 on the basis of an old Soviet farm in the village of Voloki, today this enterprise provides more than half of the pork production in the Korelich district. Every year, more than 6 thousand tons of high-quality meat products in live weight are sent to the tables of Belarusians.
The secret of success lies in the intelligent combination of advanced genetics and rigid technological calculation. The number of animals has about 30 thousand heads.
The company uses the experience of interbreed hybridization – crossbreeding of specialized breeds. The tribal core of animals is formed from three breeds: large white, Yorkshire, duroc. Tribreeding provides the maximum amount of marketable young animals with low feed costs and high meat quality.
Thanks to the introduction of automated feeding systems, microclimate, modern approach to raising animals, increased biological safety measures, production at the branch is effectively managed by a team of 80 people.
The head office is located in Minsk. He is responsible for logistics, procurement of raw materials and supply chains, finance and accounting.
The entire production life of BioMax is connected with the Korelich land. The company operates on the principle of environmental economics. Tons of manure after processing is converted into a highly efficient liquid biofertilizer. About 180 thousand tons of such organic matter are annually transferred to the fields of local agricultural enterprises.
In return, local kolkhozes provide the pig farm with feed grain as a priority. To provide livestock, the company annually purchases about 20 thousand tons of feed: wheat, barley, corn, oats, guaranteeing stable and predictable sales to local farmers.
