Governor of the Arkhangelsk region Alexander Tsybulsky congratulated workers and veterans of agriculture and processing industry on their professional holiday.
The agro-industrial complex is one of the key sectors of the economy, on the sustainable operation of which the food security of the region and the country directly depends. Thanks to your work, high-quality local products are always presented on the shelves of shops, markets and fairs of Pomerania: milk and meat, fish, potatoes, vegetables and other products, the head of the region noted.
He added that agricultural workers are introducing new technologies, using cultures adapted to northern conditions and developing processing facilities, preserving the traditions of the industry and attracting young specialists.
According to Tsybulsky, the results of this work are noticeable. Last year, the volume of agricultural production in the Arkhangelsk region exceeded 16 billion rubles, and the production index amounted to more than 102%. Farms of all categories produced almost 5.9 thousand tons of livestock and poultry.
The development of the industry is facilitated by systemic state support and implementation of regional and federal projects. Special attention is paid to training: until 2030 in the Arkhangelsk region in the framework of the federal project "Personnel in the agro-industrial complex" of the national project "Technological support for food security" it is planned to create 28 specialized agro-technological classes.
The Governor thanked the employees and veterans of the agro-industrial complex for their work, professionalism and contribution to the development of the region.
