In addition to maternity capital, next year will increase more than 40 payments
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation announced plans to index social payments in 2027. From February 1, the maternity capital will increase by 6.8%. Volgograd families who have not previously used this measure of support will receive more than 1 million rubles for their second child.
They will be raised in two stages: from February 1, by 6.8%, and from April 1, by another 3.3%. The indexation will cover 37.5 million Russians. The one-time allowance at the birth of a child will also increase to 30.4 thousand rubles.
In 2026, for the first time, a new measure of state support is provided – a family tax payment. It has already received more than 1.5 million parents raising more than 3.4 million children. The average payment amounted to more than 30.5 thousand rubles.
