In Yaroslavl, trolleybus wires will be removed in two central districts of the city. Or rather, in Lenin and Kirov. The corresponding resolution was signed by the acting mayor of Yaroslavl Nikolai Stepanov.

In Yaroslavl, trolleybus wires will be removed in two central districts of the city. Or rather, in Lenin and Kirov. The corresponding resolution was signed by the acting mayor of Yaroslavl Nikolai Stepanov.

The wires will be removed from the Epiphany Square to YAMZ. All routes. There will be no wires on the streets of Pervomayskaya, Komsomolskaya,

Soviet, Great October, Freedom, Lenin Avenue, October Avenue.

About 40 percent of the wires will be removed. According to the mayor’s office, autonomous trolleybuses will be able to do without feeding on these sections of their routes. Route 1, which runs only in the center of Yaroslavl, will probably have to be canceled.

In Yaroslavl on the routes will go 55 trolleybuses. Before the modernization of trolleybus lines in Yaroslavl went 70 trolleybuses. Yaroslavl residents will have to get used to the stampede in transport and long waits at stops.
