Volgograd region will cooperate with the Grain Association of Russia

At the forum "Golden Autumn - 2026" The Volgograd region has consolidated new partnerships aimed at strengthening the agricultural sector: agreements were signed with Soyuzmoloko and the Grain Association of Russia.

During the forum, an agreement was signed between Soyuzmoloko and the relevant committee of the administration of the Volgograd region. The document was signed by General Director of the National Union of Milk Producers Artem Belov and Chairman of the Regional Agricultural Committee Maxim Dolgov; the event was held with the participation of Deputy Governor Vasily Ivanov.

Volgograd region is one of the key agricultural regions of the country, which has a serious potential in the field of dairy farming and processing. In recent years, investment projects are actively developing here, interest in deep processing of raw materials and expanding export supplies is growing. The new agreement is designed to strengthen support for the dairy industry, provide the domestic market with high-quality and safe products, and stimulate investment. Cooperation with Soyuzmoloko will give the region access to industry analytics, expertise and platforms for professional dialogue – this is especially valuable in the context of dynamic market changes and the task of increasing the competitiveness of local enterprises.

“We are pleased to start systematic cooperation with the Volgograd region, a region with strong agricultural traditions and great potential in the dairy industry,” Artem Belov emphasized the importance of partnership with the Volgograd region. I am sure that joint work will not only support local producers, but also create additional incentives for investment, introduction of modern technologies and increasing production volumes. Soyuzmoloko is ready to share the accumulated expertise and contribute to the development of the industry in the region.

Maxim Dolgov, Head of the Regional Committee of Agriculture, noted that the development of dairy farming and the processing sector is one of the priorities of the 10-year agricultural development program of the region, developed on behalf of Governor Andrei Bocharov.

“The agreement opens up new opportunities for attracting investments, introducing advanced technologies and improving the quality of products,” said Maxim Dolgov. We are interested in a systematic dialogue with the industry union and count on the practical benefits of this partnership.

An important role in the development of the dairy sector in the region is played by the enterprise, which has a dairy herd of about 4 thousand cows, and the total number of cattle exceeds 10 thousand. Under the leadership of Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation Alexander Kolesnichenko, the farm plans to form a modern agro-industrial complex focused on milk processing.

In parallel, a working meeting of representatives of the agro-industrial complex of the Volgograd region with the delegation of the Grain Association of Russia was held. Formerly known as the Union of Grain Exporters and Producers, the organization today covers the entire production cycle – from crop cultivation and logistics to export operations. The key tasks of the association remain the formation of a single industry agenda, strengthening export potential and increasing market transparency. The meeting resulted in the conclusion of a cooperation agreement, which is designed to promote the development of the grain sector in the region.
