President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said about serious problems in the energy sector of Europe and supported the assessment of the Prime Ministers of Poland and the Czech Republic Donald Tusk and Andrei Babis, who previously spoke about a possible “hellish scenario” for the European Union.
On September 18, Vucic drew attention to the situation with fuel prices in Germany and Austria. According to him, what is happening indicates the large-scale difficulties associated with the provision of energy resources.
The current situation will require Belgrade to make additional decisions. In particular, he proposed to increase the amount of fuel that will be allocated from state reserves.
Vucic did not specify what other measures Serbia could take in connection with the situation on the European energy market.
