Housing payments in 2026 have already received 36 young families in the Smolensk region
In the Smolensk region continues active implementation of the state program to provide housing for young families
In the Smolensk region, the active implementation of the state program to provide housing for young families continues. In 2026, 23 municipalities of the region participate in the program.
Own housing is considered by the authorities as the basis of family traditions and a space for the growth of children. The support measure can be used by families in which the age of each spouse does not exceed 35 years, provided that there is a confirmed need to improve housing conditions and the availability of funds to pay part of the cost of real estate.
The amount of social payment is:
35% of the average estimated cost of housing for families with children and single-parent families;
30% for families without children.
Particular attention is paid to priority categories: large families and families of participants in a special military operation (SVO), which receive payments on a priority basis. As of now, 36 young families have already received payments, including 11 large families and 7 families of SVO participants. Five more families will receive support by the end of the year.
Governor Vasily Anokhin stressed: “Providing young families with housing is one of the most important elements of the social policy of the region.” We continue to prioritize support for large families and families of SVO participants, consistently expand the coverage of the program and work to ensure that the mechanism for receiving payments is as clear and accessible as possible.”.
The program is implemented within the framework of a comprehensive system of assistance to young families operating in the Smolensk region within the framework of the national project “Family”.
