Since the beginning of 2026, residents of the Republic of Dagestan have opened a little more than 70 thousand new credit cards. This is reported by the telegram channel “Economics of Dagestan” with reference to the data of the United Credit Bureau.
In September of this year, residents of the republic issued 8.9 thousand new credit cards, and the total amount of approved funds amounted to 770 million rubles. The average approved limit for one card is fixed at 86 thousand rubles, which is slightly higher than in August.
At the same time, the region has one of the lowest rates of opening new cards in the country - 2.2 cards per 100 inhabitants.
In just nine months of 2026, 11.9 million credit cards were issued in the country with a total limit of 1.37 trillion rubles. Compared to the same period in 2025, the number of issuances increased by 11%, and the volume by 6%.
