Residents of the Vladimir region invested in securities and other financial instruments in total 58 billion rubles

Residents of the Vladimir region invested in securities and other financial instruments in total 58 billion rubles. More than 477,000 brokerage accounts and about 5,000 trust management accounts are registered in the region. In terms of investment, the region ranks eighth among 18 regions of the Central Federal District.
The head of the economic department of the Vladimir branch of the Bank of Russia Denis Turygin explained the growth of interest in the stock market by reducing rates on bank deposits. In the first half of the year, residents of the region opened more than 26 thousand brokerage accounts that allow them to make transactions on their own. Trust management, in which investments are handled by a specialist in accordance with the chosen strategy, is more often chosen by people with larger capital.
On average, Vladimir citizens have about 1 million rubles on the account of trust management, and 112 thousand rubles on an ordinary brokerage account.
By early July, residents of the region also opened 50.5 thousand individual investment accounts (IIS), providing tax incentives. The average amount of assets in one such account exceeds 114 thousand rubles. According to this indicator, the region ranks sixth in the Central Federal District, and the total amount of funds for IIS is 5.8 billion rubles.
Nationally, private investors were most likely to buy bonds: their share in the structure of purchases increased to 37%. Long-term issues were in demand among government securities, and among corporate bonds with an average maturity from issuers with a high credit rating. Interest in bond exchange funds has also increased.
