The share of vacant premises in warehouses of the Moscow region began to decline
The vacancy rate in the logoparks of the Moscow region as of mid-September was 6% (1.7 million square meters). This is stated in the study of the consulting company Remain. At the end of June, 8.3% of the room was empty (2.4 million square meters), which was the highest figure for the last 10 years. That is, for 2.5 months, the share of vacant space decreased by 2.3 p.p., or 700,000 sq.m., notes Alexander Fedorov, director of the department of warehouse and industrial real estate at Remain. Its sharp decline in such a short period of time, the expert explains the washing out of the market of almost all the areas that were offered for sublease. That, he said, is about 500,000 square meters. At the same time, only half of them were implemented, and the rest of the premises simply ceased to be exhibited, says Fedorov.
