The pace of opening new hotels in Russia began to decline
Since the beginning of the year, 10 network and offline hotels of the level of 3-5 stars have opened in Russia for a total of 1,900 rooms. It is reported by the consulting company IBC Real Estate. Thus, according to its data, compared to the same period last year, the commissioning decreased by 56.5% in the number of objects and by 62.2% in the number of rooms. At the same time, as its director Alexei Efimov clarifies, seven more objects with 1,200 rooms, which were planned for 2026, have not been opened.
