146 grams of methadone in biscuits: in Noginsk detained a woman for trying to transfer drugs in jail
In Noginsk near Moscow, the staff of the detention center No. 11 prevented an attempt to transfer a large consignment of drugs

In Noginsk near Moscow, the staff of the detention center No. 11 prevented an attempt to transfer a large consignment of drugs. The food parcel intended for one of the accused turned out to be “stuffed” – the biscuits were impregnated with methadone with a total weight of more than 146 grams.
According to the GUFSIN of Russia in the Moscow region, when inspecting the transfer received from citizen S., operatives drew attention to bakery products. The white substance, which was impregnated with cookies, aroused suspicion among the staff of the detention center. The examination confirmed the worst fears: the products contained a drug methadone weighing 146.1 grams.
The woman was detained by police officers who arrived at the scene. A criminal case has been opened against her under part 4 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - the sale of drugs on a large scale.
This is not the first time that drugs have been smuggled into detention facilities under the guise of food. Earlier in the Tula region, a woman received three years in prison for trying to hand over cupcakes with drugs to her husband, and in the Stavropol region, the transfer of prohibited substances in gingerbread and buns was stopped.
