16-year-old cafe worker stabbed co-worker in toilet

In the US state of Texas, a 16-year-old McDonald’s employee stabbed his 17-year-old colleague. The teenager inflicted several stab wounds on a peer in a restaurant toilet, PEOPLE reports.

The tragedy occurred on Wednesday, October 7, in the establishment on Luette Road. According to authorities, police officers arrived at the scene, who detained the alleged attacker. The second teenager was found in the toilet with multiple stab wounds.

Doctors tried to help the victim, but could not save him. According to the preliminary version of the investigation, the quarrel between the teenagers turned into a fight, during which one of them stabbed the other with a knife.

The suspect was charged with murder and placed in a Harris County juvenile detention center. His name has not been disclosed. The investigation into what happened is ongoing.

The mother of the deceased Denisha Dennis told the TV channel KHOU 11 that his son went on a shift on his day off. The woman said that she wants justice, and admitted that it is difficult for her to accept the loss of a child.

According to the sister, the deceased guy was withdrawn, but cared for loved ones and dreamed after graduation of school to become a welder. The management of the restaurant expressed condolences to the family of the deceased and said that it is focused on supporting employees.
