18-year-old resident of Sudislav district became an accomplice of fraudsters

Police officers brought to justice a resident of the Sudislavsky district, who acted as a dropper. The young man applied to the duty unit on his own after banking organizations blocked all his accounts.

It was established that in early October, the defendant was looking for a part-time job on the site of free ads. The attackers offered him to transfer the money coming to the card to third-party details for a percentage of the amount. The police found out that through the account of the young man was withdrawn funds stolen by fraudsters from citizens of Tula and Nizhny Novgorod regions.

Realizing the criminal nature of his actions only after blocking the cards, the man confessed. A criminal case was opened against him under Part 4 of Art. 187 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. According to this article, for the implementation of illegal transactions with electronic means of payment is punishable up to six years in prison.
