Police officers detained a 24-year-old resident of North Ossetia, suspected of embezzling a large sum from bank accounts, the republican Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

The duty unit received a statement from a 44-year-old resident of Ardon. The woman said that her friend, under the pretext of assisting in processing loans, gained access to her accounts in the mobile applications of several banks.

During the proceedings, police officers identified and detained the suspect. She was a 24-year-old resident of Digora, who had previously been prosecuted for fraud.

As it turned out, the girl stole 177,000 rubles from one bank account of the victim, and another 150,000 rubles from another. The total amount of damage amounted to 327,000 rubles, which is a large amount.

A criminal case has been opened.
