This “Kommersant” reported representatives of the court.
Vladimir Ananyev, Oksana Shevchenko and Vladimir Bodnar were detained in February 2024. During the search, they found a radio-controlled improvised explosive device made of an anti-tank mine, a remote fuse involving the connection of a mobile phone, and several other components.
According to the investigation, they cooperated with the Ukrainian special services and intended to undermine the car of the head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov. Criminal cases were opened against them on preparation for a terrorist act, illegal acquisition, storage, carrying, transportation of explosives and explosive devices.
Oksana Shevchenko and Vladimir Bodnar fully admitted guilt and cooperated with the investigation. Vladimir Ananiev denied his involvement in the crimes he was accused of. Oksana Shevchenko was sentenced to ten years in a general regime colony in May 2025. A month later, Vladimir Bodnar was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
In the summer of 2024, the Southern District Military Court sentenced Crimean Igor Korchinsky to 18 years in prison for trying to blow up the car of the head of Crimea. The attacker followed Sergei Aksenov, studied the alleged place of the terrorist attack and mapped the possible route of the car to the site of the planned explosion, but was detained.
