The possible killer of the contestant “Mrs. Russia – Universe” was detained abroad

Abroad detained the Russian accused of murder of the contestant “Mrs. Russia-Universe”. To establish his location was possible thanks to the help of Turkey, said the official representative of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.

The murder occurred in July in one of the settlements of Odintsovo city district of Moscow region. Media wrote that at the time of the attack, the woman was walking a dog near the Romashkovo residential complex. The investigation believes that between the woman and her friend “there was a conflict on the basis of a personal hostile relationship”, and the man caused her several injuries, from which she died. According to REN TV, the body of the 39-year-old victim was found in a bag left in a forest belt.

A criminal case on murder was opened (Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). In August, the man was declared wanted. The investigation established that the accused left the territory of Russia: he flew from Vnukovo to Turkey, from where he proceeded to another country. Employees of the Moscow region GU MIA through Interpol channels sent an urgent request to Turkish colleagues.

“His location has been established. The wanted man is in custody. He is currently in custody, Ms. Wolf added, without giving further details.
