FSB detained in the suburbs of the organizer of the supply of 311 kg of cocaine to the EU

In the suburbs detained the organizer of the supply of drugs from Latin America to the European Union (EU). 311.6 kg of cocaine was seized, the FSB Public Relations Center reported.

The detainee is a Russian citizen born in 2001. The FSB called him involved in the organization of an “international smuggling channel for the supply of especially large quantities of cocaine.” The man was caught red-handed while transporting a consignment of drugs.

A criminal case was initiated on attempted sale of narcotic drugs on an especially large scale (part 5 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to the court decision, the defendant was arrested. Whether he has accomplices is not specified. Operational and search activities continue.
