FSB: the Russian received 23 years for sabotage at the Samara refinery in 2023

The Central district military court sentenced a resident of Samara, found guilty of organizing sabotage at an oil refinery in the Samara region in July 2023. He was sentenced to 23 years in prison in a strict regime colony and a fine of 1 million rubles, the FSB reported.

The Central district military court sentenced a resident of Samara, found guilty of organizing sabotage at an oil refinery in the Samara region in July 2023. He was sentenced to 23 years in prison in a strict regime colony and a fine of 1 million rubles, the FSB reported.

According to the investigation, the man acted on the instructions of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. An improvised explosive device was used for sabotage, the FSB noted.

The man was found guilty of treason, terrorist attack, illegal manufacture of explosive devices, participation in a terrorist community and training for terrorist activities.
