The Kuzminsky District Court of Moscow sent Teimuraz Gogiashvili to the pre-trial detention center until December 3, who is accused of murdering businesswoman Elena Tsereteli and her daughter Daria. Charges were brought under articles on the murder of two persons for selfish motives and illegal possession of weapons and ammunition. The defendant partially admitted guilt. This is reported by the press service of courts of general jurisdiction.
According to investigators, the murder occurred on October 1. In a garage in New Moscow, a man shot and killed 19-year-old Daria, and then in an apartment on Zhulebinsky Boulevard – her 53-year-old mother. He dismembered the bodies of the victims and hid them in garbage bags, which he left on the balcony of the apartment. Teimuraz Gogiashvili burned women’s clothes in a metal barrel on the territory of a garage and construction cooperative. He was detained in the Voronezh region on October 4 and taken to Moscow.
Teimuraz Gogiashvili participated in the battles in the Donbass, served in the Sparta unit, and later returned to Moscow, where he did business. In 2020, he was banned from entering the country for three years due to two administrative offences. He challenged this decision, pointing out that at that time he was married to a Russian citizen, had minor children with Russian citizenship, a work permit and a residence permit. Gogiashvili is registered as an individual entrepreneur. The main activity is the production of components for cars.
