In Tatarstan on the road Kazan - Shemordan collapsed overground pedestrian crossing. Two people were injured. This was reported by the press service of the EMERCOM of Russia in the republic.

The bridge collapsed near the village of Koshchakovoi in Pestrachynsky district. According to the State Traffic Inspectorate of Tatarstan, the incident occurred because of a FAM truck that was traveling with the body raised. The car touched them the span of an above-ground pedestrian crossing, which caused the collapse.

The Ministry of Health of Tatarstan said that the driver and passenger of the truck were injured. The passenger refused hospitalization, and the driver was taken to the hospital in a state of moderate severity. The prosecutor's office of the Pestrachyn district organized an inspection.
