“According to the investigator who called me, the criminal case was terminated due to the lack of corpus delicti. We have not yet seen the resolution itself, Mikhail Biryukov said.

Lida Moniava was detained on September 2 on suspicion of spreading false information about the actions of Russian servicemen against civilians in Ukraine on the Telegram channel. As specified by “Kommersant” her lawyer, the charge was related to the post from February 2023.

At a hearing on September 3, the court ordered Lida Moniava to ban certain actions. She pleaded not guilty. Later, Ms. Moniava announced her resignation as director of the Hospice House with a Lighthouse.
