The magistrate’s court in the Moscow district of Yakimanka fined 100 thousand rubles head of the security service of the Moscow Garage Museum Sergey Klyucherev. The reason was LGBT propaganda (“the international LGBT movement” is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).

According to the court decision, being responsible for the exhibition of exhibits in the museum, Mr. Klyucherev allowed the screening of the film by Olga Tobreluts “Woe from Wit” in 1994, as well as the work of the artist Lyudmila Gorlova “How I Love”.
The exhibits from the museum were seized and handed over to a commission of experts who concluded that the materials contained propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations (the international LGBT movement is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia). The protocol under Part 1 of Article 6.21 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation regarding the head of the museum security service was registered on August 5.
