According to the Moscow Prosecutor’s Office, seven residents of different regions of Russia aged 23 to 30 years organized a service for citizens who were previously denied loans. “Businessmen” rented two offices on Staroalekseevskaya street and 5th street Yamsky field, where they received those in need of financial assistance. They proposed to take over all negotiations with banks on the provision of loans, while requiring payment for documents and consultations. If citizens did not have money, they were offered a loan on unfavorable terms. In total, 50 people suffered from the actions of scammers, they were deceived by 7 million rubles.

The court sentenced four members of the group to real terms of imprisonment - from 2.5 to 4 years, one of the convicts was postponed until her child reached the age of 14. Three more scammers received suspended sentences - from 1 year 4 months to 3 years 6 months. Also, three convicts will pay fines in the amount of 400 thousand to 1 million rubles.
