In the Akhtuba district of the Astrakhan region, an engineer contacted the police. The 26-year-old said that in a chat in a popular messenger, a girl allegedly contacted him.

Under threat to tell his friends about the correspondence of the young man was persuaded to transfer 20 thousand rubles to an unidentified account. After that, the connection with the “girlfriend” broke. In fact, a criminal case was opened.

Astrakhan police warn: do not follow links from new friends, do not report codes from SMS.

If you are threatened with the distribution of correspondence, do not enter into negotiations and do not pay. Take screenshots, block the user and immediately contact law enforcement.
