The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin took control of the check on the fact of beating a child in the school of the Krasnogvardeysky district of St. Petersburg. The head of the department has already requested a report on the progress and results of the proceedings, the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported.

According to preliminary data, the teenager was severely beaten by a peer right in the building of the educational institution. Because of his injuries, the victim needed medical attention.
