Belgorodka will go to the colony for half a million rubles of alimony debt

A 40-year-old resident of the Valuysky district of the Belgorod region was brought to court for almost 500 thousand rubles of alimony debt. She was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 157 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Non-payment of funds for the maintenance of minor children").

Earlier, a woman was already brought to administrative responsibility for non-payment of alimony. The court found that she did not draw proper conclusions and continued to evade her duties.

The court sentenced her to four months in a general regime correctional colony. The verdict has not entered into legal force.
