Brest customs officers stopped the illegal import of veterinary drugs. This was reported in the GTK, writes sb.by.

Brest customs officers found in the bus that arrived at the checkpoint “Brest”, caches of veterinary drugs. The batch of drugs for animals belonged to the driver, a 33-year-old citizen of Belarus.
During the inspection of the vehicle, the location of three caches was established - in the niche of the fuses of the front panel, behind the panel above the driver's seat and behind the locker mirror in the ambulance room of the bus. Of these, 112 packages of veterinary drugs and several auto parts were recovered. The total estimated value of the seized was about 55 thousand. Before the court decision, a bus worth about 140 thousand, used to hide goods, was also seized.
Brest customs in respect of Belarusians started an administrative process in accordance with part 2 of article 15.1 of the administrative code of the Republic of Belarus. The article provides for the imposition of a fine of up to 30 basic values with the possible confiscation of hidden goods and vehicles.
