Brigadier and locksmith in Orsha district convicted of stealing more than a ton of feed

The Prosecutor’s office of Orsha district supported the charge in the case of theft of property of an agricultural enterprise. This is reported by the Prosecutor General’s office, writes sb.by.

According to the materials of the case, the 50-year-old foreman of the dairy farm and the 37-year-old locksmith acted intentionally and by prior conspiracy. They assigned roles and stole the company's property. The brigadier gave the locksmith the key to the grain warehouse, providing him with free access to the room with commodity valuables.

The locksmith penetrated the grain warehouse and packaged more than 1.1 tons of feed in 35 bags. He transported five bags to his home on a personal motorcycle unit, and sold the remaining 30 to third parties for cash. The accomplices shared the money among themselves.

As a result, the company suffered damage by almost 500 rubles. The stolen property and money were seized by law enforcement officers, the feed was fully returned to the agricultural enterprise.

The court of Orsha district and Orsha, having considered the evidence, issued a guilty verdict. According to Part 2 of Art. 210 of the Criminal Code, everyone is assigned 2 years of restriction of freedom without sending to an open-type correctional institution, without a fine, with deprivation of the right to occupy administrative and economic positions for 3 years.

According to Part 1 of Art. 46-1 of the Criminal Code, the court confiscated the motor unit, which was used to transport the abducted, to the state revenue.

The sentence has not entered into force and can be appealed on appeal.
