Four Russians kidnapped a man and scored loans on him

In Shuya, Ivanovo region, four men were sent into custody accused of kidnapping a person in order to issue loans in his name. This was reported in the joint press service of the courts of the region on Thursday.
According to investigators, in June 2026, four residents of Ivanov through the social network “Vkontakte” agreed for the victim to meet with an unknown girl in Shuya. When the man arrived at the agreed place, masked attackers attacked him, beat him and took him by car to the forest in the Lezhnevsky district. Under the threat of a knife, they seized the victim’s phone and through banking mobile applications issued applications for loans in his name. Waiting for approval of the loan, the kidnappers held the victim for about two days in pre-rented apartments in Shui. After receiving money to the accounts of the victim, the accused forced him to transfer funds to their accounts.
Those detained on October 7, 2026 – men of 33, 28, 23 and 19 years old – are charged under paragraph “a” of part 3 of Article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (abduction of a person committed with the use of violence dangerous to life and health, with the threat of its use, from selfish motives, as part of an organized group).
Having considered the petitions of the investigation and taking into account the data on the identity of the accused, the court chose in respect of each preventive measure in the form of detention for 1 month 29 days. The orders have not entered into force.
