The case of a resident of Novomoskovsk, who beat his father with a stool, sent to court

In Novomoskovsk, a 39-year-old local resident will appear before the court, accused of intentional infliction of grave harm to health, which led to the death of the victim. The indictment in the case was approved by the city prosecutor's office, the press service of the department reports.

According to investigators, on the night of August 9, 2026 in the apartment on Severodonetskaya street between the woman and her 69-year-old father there was a quarrel. Both were drunk, the man prevented his daughter from sleeping.

During the conflict, the accused inflicted at least five blows to the father with a wooden stool in the chest area. In the morning, the man became worse, he was hospitalized, but the injuries were fatal.

The criminal case was sent to the Novomoskovskiy District Court for consideration on the merits.

Earlier, “MK in Tula” reported that a 30-year-old resident of Moscow received a suspended sentence for the fact that during the quarrel three times struck his roommate with a kitchen knife in the back in the village of Nenashevo, Zaok district. The Aleksinsky Interdistrict Court found her guilty of intentional infliction of grave harm to health.
