Dispatch from Lebedyan heard the sentence for fuel for 8.2 million rubles

Waste of diesel fuel turned into a criminal record for a 41-year-old resident of Lebedyan. The verdict in this case was announced by the Lebedyansky district court, the state prosecution was supported by the local prosecutor's office.

The defendant held the position of dispatcher in the regional road repair organization. According to the investigation, from October 2023 to February 2025, she disposed of access to fuel cards and through them released a familiar diesel fuel at a reduced cost. The total volume of fuel sold exceeded 134 thousand liters.

Damage from such operations was estimated at more than 8.2 million rubles. It was possible to compensate only a small part - 3 thousand rubles. During the proceedings, the defendant admitted guilt in part, but the evidence gathered confirmed her involvement in full.

The deed was qualified under Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - theft of entrusted property. Taking into account the opinion of the public prosecutor, the court sentenced the woman to three years in prison, deferring real service until her child is 14 years old.

The civil claim of the aggrieved party for compensation of material damage was satisfied. To ensure the execution of the sentence in this part, the court upheld the arrest imposed during the investigation on part of the apartment building and land of the convict.
