Accident in Phuket, which injured 17-year-old Russian, arranged the son of the ex-mayor

The son of the former mayor of Makhachkala Musa Musayev Askhab Musayev, according to local police, became the culprit of an accident in Phuket, in which a 17-year-old Russian man was seriously injured. The teenager is in a coma for the second day, according to the Telegram channel Mash. Musaev himself was killed.

According to the channel, the teenager was driving a bike taxi to meet with friends. After the collision, he flew onto the pavement, suffered a broken jaw and severe head injury. Doctors are preparing him for the second operation. The driver of the bike taxi died, as did Ashab Musayev.

Medical examination will determine whether Musaev was drunk.

Musa Musa (Moses) was the leader of Makhachkala in 2015. In 2018, he was sentenced to four years in prison in a case of abuse of office related to a land plot in the city. In 2019, the former mayor was released on parole.
