Two friends came to Minsk and robbed a private house

A criminal case has been sent to the court against two residents of Molodechnensky district, 18 and 26 years old, who are accused of theft, the Central District Prosecutor’s Office told the Minsk-Novosti correspondent.

In June, friends went to Minsk for a walk. Walking down the street. Ryabinnitskaya, they drew attention to a private house, which they thought was abandoned, and decided out of curiosity to climb into it. As the door was locked, the eldest of the guys knocked it out.

Making sure that there was no one in the house, friends began to wander around the rooms in search of something valuable. They took with them a smart watch with a charger, a two-column acoustic system, wires, a corner grinder with components, two mobile phones, an emergency light, six chocolates, men's clothes, a pair of sneakers, as well as metal profiles, fittings and corners. They packed the stolen items in a backpack and bag found in the house, and then left.

On the same day, a friend of the owner returned to the house. He periodically lived there, helping with the repair and restoration of order on the backyard. Discovering the loss of his property totaling 2,038 BYN, the man immediately called the police.

The suspects were promptly detained, criminal proceedings were opened against them.

- The eldest of the accused is not officially employed, previously had problems with the law - the conviction has been extinguished, said Viktor Shubich, deputy prosecutor of the Central District. His accomplice also does not work anywhere, has not previously been prosecuted.

They are charged with secret theft of property (theft), committed by a group of persons on a preliminary conspiracy involving penetration into the home, that is, in a crime under Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code, the sanction of which is up to four years of imprisonment. The citizens fully acknowledged the guilt, repented of what they had done.

A preventive measure in the form of detention was applied against the accused.
